Life Coach Training
Life coach training comes in many forms, because each one of us is unique.Everyone has talents and skills. Your talents are those are innate abilities you are born with they come naturally. Skills are learned behavior which may also complement your natural talents. For example you may know the hockey great, Wayne Gretzky and see him as a natural hockey player. He is someone who also spend many hours and years honing his talent to become great. Who we are, a life coach, a hockey player, no matter what we do, is a result our talent, skills, experiences, education and training.
Here is my story
Life experiences contribute greatly to my skill and knowledge as a life coach. I have accepted challenges. Some of the results of these challenges were what I expected and wanted, some were not, all contributed to my learning and experience. Formal education is also an important part of my life coach training and my life. I am passionate about learning. I am a life long learner. One of my greatest joys is teaching and sharing what I have learned.
My first passion was to be a wife and mother. Shortly after graduating from high school I married and started a family. Being a wife and mother was just what I wanted. I loved it. I had three children. I was very happy and content. But all things change and when my children were in school, I wanted a new challenge. I wanted to be a teacher. My husband and children thought is was a great idea.
We moved to a new city and I enrolled in University. It was a challenge to be a wife, a mother and a student. It was also at a time when returning to school as an adult was not common. The four years went quickly. I loved every moment of it, going to class, writing papers, taking exams. Wow. One day I had a Degree and a Teaching Certificate. Then I was a teacher with a job. Life was good.
But as life always changes, our daughter became very ill. Two years of hospitals and chemo therapy had a negative effect on our family and on our marriage. Our daughter survived and is well to this day, but our marriage of 17 years did not.
I was a teacher for more than twenty years. I taught children of all ages as well as adults. Much of my life coach training was acquired as a teacher. I had many opportunities to coach and mentor new teachers, and students and parents of my students.
I married for a second time. I learned from my experiences. We have a blended family, that has grown exponential over they years. That experience added greatly to my life coaching training. Life coaching was a natural next step for me after teaching.

I believe my many and varied experiences have taught and continue to teach me lessons that contribute to my life coach training. I love to assists people to believe in themselves and empower them to take ownership of their lives to achieve their goals. Some of my talents that assist me as a coach are are being a good listener, seeing the big picture, being able to focus on the main issue. As a life long learner, I continue to improve my life coach training. I am a certified coach. I continue to learn taking course and training related to life coaching.
My favorite people to work with are busy successful women like you, who find that they want to make some changes in their life. I have worked with women who: * want to start their own business * want more time for themselves in their busy day * are getting over a divorce * who are looking at a career change * women who work in their husband's business and wanted a change and on the list goes.
